Perfect for graceful groundcovers, filling in bare spots under trees, and as accents – garden ferns thrive in South Florida due to the humidity. The Sword Fern, Nephrolepis exaltata, in particular can fill in an area quickly. This fern also does well in a hanging pot as a house plant.
