The Clerodendrum quadriloculare better known as Starburst or Shooting Star, is a beautiful addition to any outdoor garden. This is one of the most spectacular South Florida flowering plants. It only blooms in late winter or early spring but this fantastic floral display is well worth the wait. It is highly attractive to bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. This pale pink flower blooms in clusters and is partial to full sun. Leaves of dusty gray-green are backed with deep purple which gives the shrub a deep-toned hue that contrasts with all the green in a landscape.
